Dana Bourgeois earned her Bachelors of Science in Communication Disorders from Nicholls State University and her Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, LA. She began working as a speech-language pathologist at The Center for Pediatric Therapy in July 2013.
Dana has earned her Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed by the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology (LBESPA).
Dana currently sees children in both our Thibodaux and Houma locations. She services children with speech sound disorders, receptive and expressive language deficits, voice problems, fluency difficulties, and other communication disorders with a special interest in childhood apraxia of speech, augmentative communication (AAC), and hearing impairments. She is trained in PROMPT techniques and orofacial myology.
