Meagan Pitre

Meagan Pitre earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Communicative Disorders from Nicholls State University and her Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the Southern University in Baton Rouge.

She began working as a speech-language pathologist at The Center for Pediatric Therapy in June 2021. Meagan will earn a Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) in summer of 2022, and holds a License with the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology (LBESPA).

She has clinical experience in providing both individual and group speech therapy services in early intervention, pediatric outpatient, and the school system settings. Meagan has worked with children having a variety of diagnoses, such as autism spectrum disorder, Down Syndrome, articulation difficulties, language and literacy difficulties, fluency disorders, as well as those who utilize AAC devices. Meagan resides with her spouse in Houma, LA.
