Kacey R. Hernandez earned her Bachelors of Science from Nicholls State University and her Masters in Communicative Disorders from Louisiana State University-Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, LA. She began working as a speech-language pathologist at The Center for Pediatric Therapy in 2021.
She completed her clinical fellowship at McMains Children’s Developmental Center in Baton Rouge and became certified by the American Speech- Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) with her Certificate of Clinical Competence. She is also licensed by the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (LBESPA). Kacey has gained the knowledge and experience to work with patients who have articulation and phonological based deficits, receptive and expressive language delays, poor voice and fluency skills, oral motor weakness and feeding difficulties, and AAC devices.
She recently moved back to her hometown of Thibodaux and began working at The Center for Pediatric Therapy. Kacey and her husband, Brett, are loving being back home in Thibodaux where they are raising their two children Hallie and Cole.
